“I think that there is real confidence that they have been arguably the best team in football this season. They are getting to play at home and I think there is a real belief that this team is going to make it through.”
Ticket scammers are also likely to be looking to make a buck and Attorney General Jeff Landry says if a ticket deal seems too good to be true it is.
“Consumers lose millions of dollars each year through con artists selling phony tickets, stick with reputable ticket brokers and resellers.”
The Attorney General urges buyers to make sure the ticket seller belongs to the National Association of Ticket Brokers and they have guarantee policies on their websites for refunds in case the event is canceled or something goes wrong with the ticket. Landry says if you do have tickets to the game don’t be a showoff.
“Do not post pictures of your tickets on social media before you get scanned into the dome,” said Landry.
He says scalpers can steal the barcodes from the picture and create a counterfeit ticket.
