An offensive shootout is expected on Saturday when sixth ranked LSU visits ninth ranked Georgia. Both of these teams are averaging 40 points or more a game. Tigers offensive coordinator Cam Cameron says they will take what the Georgia defense gives them on Saturday.
"That may mean throwing it lot, that may mean running it a lot," Cameron said. "The way our offensive line is growing and developing, we like to thing that's going to give us the opportunity to run the football."
Cameron says they want to avoid pre-snap penalties this Saturday. He says false start penalties kept them from scoring more points against Auburn last week.
"We started off extremely fast, scoring in two of the first three series of the 2nd half, and then basically started jumping offsides and having penalties. We have to get that tighten up, because that will make it tough on the road in a crowd, noise environment."
