Freeze warnings in effect across Louisiana

Much of the state is under a freeze warning tonight as that cold Canadian air the cold front brought to Louisiana is really entrenched across the state.  Mike Efferson, with the National Weather Service in Slidell, says you can expect temperatures really drop tonight.

"So tonight expect some very cold temperatures for this time of year.  We're looking at lows anywhere from 25 to 30 degrees across Louisiana."
Efferson says temperatures will be 20 to 25 degrees below normal heading into the weekend.  He says there is a chance of rain coming in Saturday night.

"But by that time you're looking at mid 40s to around 50 degrees for the lows and then, for the daytime highs, around 60 degrees."
