State tax officials remind you cyber shopping is not tax-free
Posted on 12/1/2013 3:24:00 PM.
Monday is designated as Cyber Monday; a day to make your online holiday purchases, but state officials remind you those purchases are not tax-free. "They're allowed to not charge sales tax because they do not have a physical location in the state of Louisiana, but it DOESN'T mean the tax does not apply to that purchase."
