The Slidell Police Department arrests two Gulfport men for allegedly trying to sell fake flat-screen televisions. Detective Daniel Seuzeneau says they got a report about the suspects' activities taking place at a gas station near a Mardi Gras parade route. He says cops moved in to check the serial numbers on the TVs, and quickly learned that they weren't stolen.

A Mississippi man, who told authorities he was on his way to see a voodoo doctor, has been arrested after crashing through a fence at the Slidell Municipal Airport. Detective Daniel Seuzeneau with the Slidell Police Department says police received a call yesterday morning of a vehicle that ran into a utility pole. He says when authorities arrived 43-year-old Kevin Bolton told them he thought he was being chased by police.

Domestic dispute leads to fatal stabbing in Slidell

Slidell Police say a domestic disturbance lead to a fatal stabbing Sunday evening. Detective Daniel Seuzeneau says officers learned that the suspect, 25-year-old Joseph Thibodeaux of Pearl River, was arguing with his fiance, and threatening to stab others in the house.

A 73-year-old Slidell man was brutally beaten during a road rage incident just before noon yesterday. Slidell Police responded to the scene after receiving a 911 call from a witness who saw two young men attacking the elderly man inside his vehicle.

The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office is not happy the Humane Society of Louisiana sent out a release about a dog that was killed after being dragged behind a pickup truck. Captain Daniel Seuzeneau says before deputies were notified about this incident, the photo of the man involved was shared feverously across social media.

A Covington man is behind bars after police say he tried to run over an 8-year-old then rammed a sheriff’s deputy on I-12. Capt. A former Fontainebleau High School teacher and coach has been arrested for having sexual relations with one of his students. Capt. Daniel Seuzeneau with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office says 37-year-old William Leto made contact with the student through social media and then began grooming her to trust him.

Two pilots killed in Slidell plane crash

Two people have died after a mosquito-abatement airplane crashed in the woods near the Slidell City Airport last night. Slidell Police Sgt. Daniel Seuzeneau says two planes were finishing up their rounds and landing at the airport when one plane began flipping, struck a power line, and went down into a wooded area.

Man wanted after police find human remains, animal bones in Slidell home

Police are searching for a man in the New Orleans area after a search warrant led to a gruesome discovery of human remains and animal bones in a Slidell home. Sgt. Daniel Seuzeneau with the Slidell Police Department says 31-year-old Joshua Roques’ home contained ritualistic items unlike anything he’s ever seen.
