U.S. News and World Report: UL-Lafayette in Top 25 where students are eager to go

UL-Lafayette has been named one of the Top 25 in U.S. News and World Report’s list of, “Universities and Colleges Where Students are Eager to Enroll.” Dr. DeWayne Bowie, vice president for Enrollment Management, says the ranking is a testament, not only to academic offerings.

UL Lafayette expands Louisiana Legacy Scholarship

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette announces the expansion of their Louisiana Legacy Scholarship. Vice President for Enrollment Management Dr. DeWayne Bowie says the scholarship is designed to bring out of state students with Louisiana ties back to the state. He says the scholarship covers out of state fees for these students.

National WalletHub study ranks Lafayette as the 9th least educated city

According to a study by WalletHub, Lafayette is the 9th least educated city out of 150 of the largest US metropolitan statistical areas (MSA). In the 2015 Most & Least Educated Cities report, the Hub City is in the bottom 10 at No. 142.
