Southeastern promises not to raise incoming freshmens' tuition if they promise to graduate in four years

Southeastern Louisiana University is issuing a promise to incoming freshmen not to raise their tuition, if they commit to completing their degree in four years. University President John Crain says they’re seeing students taking longer and longer to earn a bachelor’s degree, and the Southeastern Promise encourages students to graduate in four years.

The city of Hammond has gone Lion crazy and a pep rally is being held this morning in anticipation of the Lions' first playoff game on Saturday. The contest in Strawberry Stadium will be against SLU Southland Conference foe, Sam Houston State. University President Dr. John Crain says the excitement in the city is off the charts.
