The LSU Board of Supervisors elects not to take up a proposal to give football coach Les Miles an additional $100,000 if the Tigers reach the national championship game. Tiger Rag Editor Cody Worsham was there when the item agenda came up for a vote and it was quickly deferred to be considered at a future meeting.

The LSU Board of Supervisors gives the school’s ag center the green light to begin the process of growing medical marijuana that would be dispensed to eligible Louisiana patients. LSU Ag Center Chancellor Doctor Bill Richardson says they plan to grow medical weed on private property, away from campus, inside a facility that needs to be built.

The LSU Board of Supervisors has decided to hold off on voting on a proposal to increase football and baseball tickets until December. A vote was scheduled for Friday. But Athletic committee chairman Blake Chatelain says they will still talk about higher ticket prices at Friday's meeting.

A state judg
e orders the LSU Board of Supervisors to pay court costs and attorney fees for two newspapers who filed suit seeking presidential search records.
The ruling is expected to cost LSU 80-thousand dollars and that's on top of 63-thousand dollars in earlier fines for failing to turn the records over after the judge ruled in favor of the newspapers.
