Former LSU offensive lineman La'el Collins is now a Dallas Cowboy. The Baton Rouge product signed a three-year, 1.65 million dollar guaranteed contract, after not getting drafted. NFL teams were scared to select Collins, because he was wanted for questioning about the murder of a pregnant woman.

Cops say DNA results are in and former LSU Tiger La'el Collins was not the father of Brittney Mills' baby.
 
Mills was gunned down and killed at her apartment on April 24th when she was pregnant and though EMS was able to deliver the baby, he died a week later. 
 
Both ESPN and NFL Network are reporting Dallas is signing the rookie free agent.

It is reportedly a 3-year deal in the range of $1.65-1.7 million, and is fully guaranteed.

The Baton Rouge Police Department says after their interview Monday with former LSU Tiger La'el Collins, he is still not a suspect in the April 24th murder of Brittney Mills. Corporal Don Coppola says Collins is fully cooperating.

Collins wore a blue suit for his meeting with investigators and his attorney, Jim Boren, says the All-SEC player cooperated fully.

The Baton Rouge Police Department is now saying that former LSU player and potential first round draft pick La’el Collins will not be interviewed about the murder of a pregnant woman until after the NFL draft. Authorities say Collins is not a suspect in the murder of 29-year-old Brittney Mills but think he may have some information that can be helpful in their investigation since the two had previously been in a relationship.

Baton Rouge police say their detectives want to speak with former LSU Tiger La'el Collins about the shooting death of a pregnant woman. 29-year-old Brittney Mills was gunned down at her home last Friday. Corporal Don Coppola says Collins is not considered a suspect in her murder, but they know he had a relationship with the woman.

LSU OT La'el Collins to return for his senior season

LSU will have its big left tackle back for another season. La'el Collins has decided to return for his senior season.
 
Collins was a second team All-Southeastern Conference selection in 2013. He will be one of four returning starters on the offensive line next season and he thinks the Tigers can do some special things in 2014.

Six LSU Tigers are on the coaches preseason ALL-SEC teams

Six LSU Tigers have been named to the preseason All-SEC teams based on voting from the league's coaches. On the offensive side of the ball, no one from LSU made the first and second-teams, but three are on the third team, including starting left tackle La'el Collins, who says the o-line has improved even though it lacks a starter, who is a senior.
