Fantasy sports fans are asking what’s next after 47 parishes have legalized online fantasy sports betting, and the only answer we do have is: you’ll have to wait until next year to find out. Public Affairs Research Council President Robert Travis Scott says it's up to the legislature to fill in the details for parishes that voted yes.

Voters set for historic unanimous jury decision

Amendment number two on the November ballot is getting nationwide attention, with over two million dollars pumped into the state to convince voters to support requiring unanimous jury decisions in felony trials. President of the Public Affairs Research Council, Robert Travis Scott, says the amendment will have huge legal ramifications if approved.

Parishes set to vote on legalizing fantasy sports through third-party websites

Voters in all 64 Parishes will have a chance to vote on whether or not folks in their neck of the woods will be allowed to play fantasy sports for money. Currently, Louisianans are barred from websites like DraftKings and FanDuel, which Public Affairs Research Council of Louisiana President Robert Travis Scott says are currently classified as gambling.
