Peanut allergy treatment shows positive early results

Children who suffer from severe peanut allergies may be in luck as a new drug has been developed to mitigate the potentially deadly effects of accidental ingestion. LSU Health New Orleans Allergy expert Dr. Kamboj says it’s not for light allergy sufferers, and you won’t be scarfing down PB&J’s, but, you might be able to eat something cooked in peanut oil.

Fall allergies expected to be in overdrive this season

If you've been feeling more allergy symptoms than normal for this time of year, fall allergies are expected to be worse for sufferers thanks to hotter, muggier weather. Dr. Sanjay Kamboj is an Allergy and Immunology Associate Professor at LSU Health New Orleans.

LSU Allergist says this is the worst allergy season he's ever seen

An Allergist with LSU Health Sciences Center says in all his years as a doctor, this is the worst allergy season he’s ever seen. Dr. Sanjay Kamboj says there has been a 10% to 20% increase in the number of patients coming in with allergies that were once able to be treated with over the counter medications.
