Sunday marks the 15 year anniversary of the deadly terrorist attack on the World Trade Center that took the lives of nearly 3-thousand people, including one man from Sulphur, Louisiana. Sulphur Mayor Chris Duncan says Leo Russell Keene III was working at the World Trade Center during the attack and died saving people from an elevator. He says the city will honor Keene at Saturday’s memorial service when they unveil a bust made in Keene’s honor.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office arrests a 26-year-old man who allegedly locked up a convenience store clerk in Sulphur and raped her in a storage room. Spokesperson Kim Myers says James Domingue of Sulphur entered the business and locked the door unbeknownst to the clerk, then lured her to the back of the store pretending to search for an item.

State Police say a deputy with the Cameron Parish Sheriff's Office is under arrest after being found with a large amount of marijuana in his vehicle. Sgt. James Anderson says, on I-10 in Sulphur, troopers stopped a truck driven by 28-year-old Derek Nothnagel of Lake Charles for a traffic violation.

Three people, including a ten-month-old child were killed in a single vehicle accident Friday afternoon in Sulphur. The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's office says a car driven by 30-year-old Michael Guillory of Lake Charles traveled across the center line of the road, into and through a ditch before slamming into a cement utility pole.
