United Cajun Navy assisting local synagogues

The United Cajun Navy will be providing protection to a few south Louisiana synagogues while tensions are high after the Pittsburgh terror attack on a Jewish congregation. Media Coordinator Brian Trascher says no one will be armed, and they’ll be providing a lookout service to keep an eye out for suspicious behavior around the houses of worship.

The United Cajun Navy is on location in Lynn Haven and Panama City Florida, sites of mass destruction in the wake of Hurricane Michael. It’s been a week since the storm passed, and officials say it could be months before power and services are restored. United Cajun Navy Founder Todd Terrell says he’s never seen devastation this bad.

Cajun Navy set to perform rescues and cook for first responders in the Carolinas

Hurricane Florence is expected to produce life-threatening storm surge and rainfall when it makes landfall in North Carolina and the Cajun Navy will be there to help with rescues. United Cajun Navy founder Todd Terrell says 67 volunteers left Baton Rouge armed with boats and emergency supplies.
