The LSU Board of Supervisors elects not to take up a proposal to give football coach Les Miles an additional $100,000 if the Tigers reach the national championship game. It appeared Miles was coaching his final game in Tiger Stadium on Saturday, but after the victory, athletic director Joe Alleva announced Miles would return for another season. A very good basketball recruiting class for LSU gets better with the addition of Mr. Louisiana Basketball, Brandon Sampson.
