LSU All-American Safety Jamal Adams announces he's skipping his senior season and entering the NFL draft. Adams held a press conference Friday morning to thank all of those who helped him become a likely first-round draft choice. Adams was emotional when talking about his parents.

LSU Athletic Director Joe Alleva spoke with reporters along with interim Head Coach Ed Orgeron today. He said making the decision to terminate Les Miles was not an easy one to make, but changes within the program had to take place.

Former LSU football coach Les Miles said he’s feeling good one day after his firing. Miles was a guest this morning on the “Dan Patrick Show on DirecTV’s Audience.” Miles says he was told of his firing during a face-to-face meeting with Athletic Director Joe Alleva and the Tigers former head man said he didn’t fight the decision.

After 114 wins, a BCS National Championship and two SEC championships, Les Miles is no longer the head coach at LSU. Miles, along with LSU offensive coordinator Cam Cameron were let go, after a bad loss to Auburn to drop their record to 2-2.

Time ran out on the LSU Tigers on Saturday night in their loss to Auburn and time has also run out on head football coach Les Miles and offensive coordinator Cam Cameron.
Athletic Director Joe Alleva has made the decision to fire Miles and Cameron and name defensive line coach and recruiting coordinator Ed Orgeron interim head coach.

LSU football quarterback Brandon Harris received death threats following the Tiger’s devastating season opening loss to Wisconsin. Head coach Les Miles hopes the person writing these messages doesn’t really know what he is saying and will not act on the threats.

LSU Football Coach Les Miles told reporters on the SEC teleconference that he would like to keep it in-house on who will start at quarterback this Saturday against Mississippi State. But the head coach still gave us a strong clue that it will be Danny Etling.

LSU Football Coach Les Miles is not revealing who will be the starting quarterback for Saturday’s SEC opener against Mississippi State. Danny Etling sparked the Tigers to a win over Jacksonville State last weekend, after Brandon Harris struggled in the first quarter. Miles was asked if Etling’s emergence on the field led to the team playing with a greater level of enthusiasm.

The LSU Board of Supervisors elects not to take up a proposal to give football coach Les Miles an additional $100,000 if the Tigers reach the national championship game. Tiger Rag Editor Cody Worsham was there when the item agenda came up for a vote and it was quickly deferred to be considered at a future meeting.

LSU Coach Les Miles is not making any major changes on offense for Saturday’s home opener against Jacksonville State. Miles is moving offensive coordinator Cam Cameron from the sidelines to the press box and he’ll call plays from above the field. The head coach is not making a change at quarterback, but wants Brandon Harris to be more accurate.
