Television ads begin running in Iowa supporting Governor Jindal

A pro-Governor Bobby Jindal advocacy group has released a television ad in Iowa supporting his candidacy for president.  The American Future Project says the ad will run on cable television in Iowa and online for one week.

Jindal gets enthusiastic standing ovation after speech in Iowa

At a gathering of about 600 Christian conservatives in Iowa Thursday, the largest applause of the night went to Governor Bobby Jindal.  Three other Republican presidential hopefuls, Rick Perry, Mike Huckabee, and Rick Santorum, also spoke at the event.

Jindal winds up in 12th in Conservative Political Action Conference straw poll

A straw poll conducted at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference showed Governor Bobby Jindal finishing in 12th place among Republican presidential hopefuls.  Jindal received less than one percent of the ballots in that poll.

Governor Jindal's numbers fall in new Iowa presidential poll

A new poll conducted by the Des Moines Register and Bloomberg Politics show that Governor Bobby Jindal's numbers have slipped among Iowa Republican voters.  Jindal got two-percent of respondents when asked for their first choice in a presidential candidate.

Jindal returns for closed door meetings in Iowa

Today, Governor Bobby Jindal is scheduled to have two closed door meetings with conservative religious leaders in Iowa.  According to the Des Moines Register, the meetings will take place in Cedar Rapids and Des Moines.
