Tiger fans are Atlanta bound this Saturday as the Bayou Bengals take on the Georgia Bulldogs in the SEC Championship game. StubHub spokesperson Erin Exum says over a thousand tickets are currently available with an average price of $567.
“This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see this SEC Championship on Saturday, but you can get in for less than $200,” said Exum.
Tickets have been purchased in 47 states, but Exum says Bulldog fans will likely be prevalent in their home state.
“53% of the tickets sold have been purchased from the state of Georgia with the state of Louisiana only having 7% so we’ve got to get some more purple and gold in there by the time Saturday comes around,” said Exum.
Exum says it is important to buy tickets from a reputable source and not a scalper outside of the venue on game day.
“Just because you don’t know which tickets are going to potentially be fraudulent, you don’t want to get to the gate and be turned away. So buying from a secure marketplace is super important, especially for a big game like this,” said Exum.
The Tigers are a touchdown favorite to win on Saturday.
