Former LSU Head Football Coach Les Miles
Les Miles is out as the head football coach at Kansas University as a result of the reports that surfaced last week where Miles acted inappropriately with female students at LSU and was told to quit texting them. Tiger Rag Editor Ron Higgins says the 67-year-old’s coaching days are likely over.
“There’s nobody that’s going to hire him now, I don’t know if even a pro team would hire him as a scout or anything, I think this is pretty much it, in a way is this justice for all his victims? I’d say yeah.”
Miles has denied the allegations made against his client that were investigated in 2013. The former Tigers coach allegedly tried kissing a student and performing unwanted touching. Higgins says Kansas had no choice but to let him go…
“He denied there was a sexual relationship and I believe him on that but hitting on students that work in your football office constantly and not just hitting but the depth he tried is just unacceptable on any level.”
Higgins says the sexual misconduct allegations were initially hard to believe because Miles was considered a family man.
“It was hard to believe because he was a family guy and portrayed himself that way, I guess everybody has a secret that eventually gets found out and in this case it was found out a long time ago.”
