If you’ve ever longed for a simpler way to book a hunting or fishing trip to include lodging, an outfitter, or charter captain and found it a bit overwhelming, well there’s a new one-stop-shop service that’s based in the Sportsman’s Paradise just for you. It’s called Mallard Bay and founder Logan Meaux said it’s comparable to Airbnb.
“Rather than just booking a lodge or a place to stay when you hunt it’s a full-service experience. So that’s lodging, meals, duck hunting, deer hunting, turkey, you name it,” said Meaux.
Mallard Bay is based in Baton Rouge and excursions aren’t just limited to Louisiana, they also include states like Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Alabama.
Meaux said after having difficulty booking a hunting trip for his father, Waitr founder Chris Meaux’s birthday, he came up with the idea and began talking with outfitters and sportsmen, and created what is now Mallard Bay.

“Our experience as a family with the Waitr App and this is kind of my opportunity to make a big splash in the tech industry as well as an industry I love. I wouldn’t be doing this if I didn’t want to be doing it every day,” said Meaux.
So, if you’re looking for an ideal gift for the outdoorsman or woman in your life, Meaux said Mallard Bay can help you find the perfect trip and they are even offering a discount for listeners.
“If you go and book a trip on Mallard Bay after hearing our story and if you put Louisiana Radio Network in the message when you book, we’ll go ahead and give you a $100 discount on your trip,” said Meaux.
