The top-ten matchup between LSU and Alabama this Saturday is a hot ticket if you want to get into Death Valley. With the SEC West potentially on the line, fans of both schools are trying to be there for the unofficial semifinal. StubHub supply manager Ray Clark said that this game has been a desirable ticket as the rivalry always is, but demand has really increased over the last week.
“Tons of demand for this game, both teams in must win situations. We’re seeing a ton of excitement around this game right now and a lot of increased demand, especially over the last week.”
Clark said there are still over 3,500 tickets available on their marketplace, but advises fans not to wait until the last minute for prices to go down. He said this is the second hottest game of the weekend just behind the Georgia-Tennessee game, and there’s no telling what prices could do. Clark said the cheapest ticket is currently going for $165 and prices are comparable to last year’s clash in Alabama.
“Average ticket price is right around $300 which is very similar to other in demand games but also very comparable to LSU-Alabama last year.”
With only UAB and two SEC West away games left on the schedule for LSU, this will by far be the biggest game Death Valley will see this year. Clark said that Louisiana has been coming out strong to support their Tigers so far and ranks this rivalry as one of the top events for the rest of the season in all of college football.
“Certainly the biggest remaining game for LSU the rest of the season, and it’s actually our number 5 overall selling game across college football for the rest of the season.”
