LSU running back Trey Holly, who faces three felony charges, including attempted second-degree murder for a shooting that wounded two people in Farmerville, says he’s 100 percent innocent of the charges.
In a post on the social media platform X, Holly says he’s been falsely identified, accused, and arrested. Holly says he was at home which is where the incident took place.
The all-time leading rusher in Louisiana high school football history says he turned himself in because he was notified of the arrest warrant and Holly says he wanted to cooperate fully with the investigation.
Holly also apologized for the confusion, but this is not him at all and he looks forward to proving his innocence.
The former Union Parish football star was one three people arrested last Thursday for a shooting that injured two people at an apartment complex in Farmerville on February 9th.
Holly faces attempted second-degree murder, one count of aggravated criminal damage to property and one count of illegal use of a weapon.
