Ochsner Health is raffling off two tickets to see Taylor Swift and raise money for their Neuroscience Institute. Assistant VP of Philanthropy Lucy King said the winner will receive two suite tickets for the October 26th soldout show at the Superdome. And like Taylor, King said the neuroscience center is one of a kind.
“It will treat everything from Alzheimer’s to brain tumors, to ALS, and the only freestanding neuroscience institute between Houston and Atlanta,” said King.
So, if it’s among your “Wildest Dreams” to see Taylor in “Style,” King said don’t “Shake Off” this opportunity.
Audio Player“You get to do something great and good for our community and see some amazing music. And it also comes with a dinner at the Miss River at the Four Seasons Hotel,” said King.
King said they’ve already broken ground on the Debra H. and Robert J. Patrick Neuroscience Center in New Orleans and like Taylor, music will play a “Mastermind” role in the treatment of neurological disorders.
“And it’s really the first of its kind. It’s really taking care of the mind, body, and spirit for patients. And it will have a sculpture garden, music therapy, art therapy as well as state-of the-art technology and care,” said King.
The $100 raffle tickets can be purchased at www.ochsner.org/eras. The deadline to purchase tickets is just before “Midnight” on April 7th and the winner will be drawn on April 8th.
