
The University of Louisiana Monroe (ULM) has announced a significant 4% increase in overall enrollment, one of the largest in its history. “The number of events that we hosted on campus this year that allowed our prospective students and parents to actually interact with our faculty and staff.”
ULM’s graduate school has also seen its largest enrollment ever, with a 9% rise compared to last year. Another notable growth area, Miller says, is in international freshmen student enrollment, with a 110% increase in freshman students from abroad, more than doubling the last count.
“We think our international students add a lot to the culture of ULM and contribute to that growing need for diversity.”
Miller emphasized this past year was the first since Covid-19 the university was able to get back to recruitment, and ULM has been working to rebound from the decreased enrollment that the pandemic caused.
“We attribute our success to everyone on campus who’s commitment to continue to grow the university and share with others the lifechanging experience they can have on our campus.”
