Ag Commissioner Mike Strain heading to the U.K.

Louisiana Agriculture Commissioner Mike Strain is set to visit the UK to promote Louisiana spices, meet agricultural officials, and tour farms and other agricultural sites. Strain’s enthusiasm for Louisiana’s vibrant food culture and his excitement about his upcoming trip reflect his commitment to expanding Louisiana’s agricultural influence and fostering cultural exchange through food.

“That’s how we start that conversation, because we like to sell stuff to the U.K.”

Strain says he will be touring and looking at the U.K. agriculture and meeting with their officials.

“We will be going down to 10 Downing St. We’ll be going down to Parliament.  We’ll meet with the head veterinarians and their scientist.”
