DOTD is updating its Statewide Transportation Plan as it does every ten years, and it needs your input in doing so.
It has launched a survey to get your input on improving transportation throughout the state.
“A big part of that is stakeholder input,” says DOTD Spokeswoman Erin Buchanan. “So that’s from the general public, from elected officials, from all types of users of our transportation system, whether motorized or otherwise.”
Buchanan says the survey will go a long way in helping DOTD develop its plan to address all forms of transportation – not just motor vehicles.
“We’e got other types of roadway users that utilize our system on a daily basis — pedestrians, bicyclists, motorcyclists, all types of users that need and depend on the stable safe system for them to get where they need to go,” says Buchanan.
The survey is seven questions long, and it should take a very short time to fill out.
