Today is the big day as the new Live! Casino and Hotel Louisiana opens its doors in Bossier City.
“We have been working around the clock to get everything ready, and we are just excited to open these doors and show the world everything that Live! Casino and Hotel Louisiana has to offer,” says Josh Robinson, vice president of marketing for Live! Casino and Hotel Louisiana.
The $270 million resort is Shreveport-Bossier City’s first land-side casino.
“We have a 47,000 square foot casino, and six amazing restaurants (and) 549 luxury hotel rooms,” Robinson continues, “everything absolutely brand new and beautiful.”
Robinson says you’re immersed from the moment you walk in.
“In our main entry, we have got an LED wall that is wrapped from the bottom all the way up over the ceiling and all the way outside to greet our guests,” says Robinson. “It’s really an art piece of its own.”
The resort has hired a full staff ready to help guests feel welcome.
“We’ve got 800 phenomenal team members that are really going to bring this building to life and really provide a level of service that is unmatched and really deliver on that Live! brand,” Robinson says.
Of course, no casino resort would be complete without a state-of-the-art music venue.
Live! Casino and Hotel Louisiana is no exception, and some big names will be taking the stage in the resort’s infancy.
“Our first entertainer coming in will be on February 28th, that is Walker Hayes,” says Robinson. “And then we’ll have the Commodores, and then two nights of Matt Mathews on March 8th and March 9th. And then we’ll finish up March with the one and only Clint Black.”
The doors to Live! Casino and Hotel Louisiana open at 8:00 p.m.
