If you missed out on getting Taylor Swift tickets, Republican Scott McKnight is raffling off tickets if you donate to his campaign for treasurer. McKnight said after all the hoopla over the concert he opted to use it as a way to drive Swift fans to his campaign.
“We decided that this would be a great way to get people engaged, get some excitement, and hopefully get somebody that didn’t have an opportunity to purchase tickets a great opportunity to go see the concert,” said McKnight.
For each $3 donation, your name is entered into the raffle and McKnight said these aren’t just any tickets…
“We have the tickets, I know exactly where they are, they’re on the floor stage side. We know exactly which seats these people will be sitting in,” said McKnight.

“It’s really just getting people interested in a race that I don’t think a lot of people have been interested in before,” said McKnight.
The winner will be announced on September 30th which is also the first day of early voting for the October 14th primary. The tickets are for the Friday, October 25th show at the Superdome.
Democrat Dustin Granger and Republican John Fleming are the other two candidates in the race.
