A Deville woman was arrested twice in April on multiple charges involving criminal sexual conduct with juveniles. Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office Spokesperson Tommy Carnline says 29-year-old Danielle Sober Trapp was taken into custody on April 17.
“Through that investigation, they were able to obtain arrest warrants for Ms. Trapp for some sexual allegations that we found while they were investigations.”
The investigation included interviews with the victims through the Rapides Children’s Advocacy Center. Trapp was arrested on four counts of obscenity and two counts of sexual battery. Carnline says detectives were also able to identify several additional victims.
“She was arrested for two counts of obscenity and two counts of sexual battery. She was booked and later released on a bond the following day.”
Detectives were able to uncover more alleged crimes and warrants. Carnline says Trapp was re-arrested a second time on outstanding warrants on April 28.
“They were able to get further warrants – one count of first-degree rape of a juvenile under thirteen years old, two counts more of sexual battery, one count of human trafficking, and thirty-one counts of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.”
The investigation is ongoing.
