Public opinion polls show that most Americans do not support the United States’ military conflict against Iran. But Louisiana U.S. Senator John Kennedy says President Trump’s decision to use military force against Iran will result in a much safer world.
“It’s not being reported by the press; but Iran, today, is immeasurably weaker. Iran, today, both the public and the private sector, is a sucking chest wound. There are whole parts of Iran that look like something out of Mad Max 4,” Kennedy said.
Kennedy says the U.S., with the help of Israel, has weakened Iran’s military, including its naval fleet and the country no longer has an air defense system. Louisiana’s Republican Senator also says Iran no longer has nuclear weapons program.
“President Trump has made the world immeasurably safer; not just the Middle East; immeasurably safer. Because he is the first president in our lifetime, along with Israel, to say, ‘Iran, we have had enough of your BS,” Kennedy noted.
Kennedy says he knows the war in Iran has raised the price of gas and increased inflation, but he’s proud America has weakened Iran’s military capability.
“We’ve destroyed a lot of their missiles. We haven’t been able to get all of them because they’re hiding some of them in a cave. We’ve destroyed their weapons-producing facilities,” Kennedy explained.
